Join us for a special Formby Beach Clean Volunteer Day and make a positive impact on our beautiful coastline. This is a fantastic opportunity to come together, protect local wildlife, and enhance the natural beauty of Formby Beach. Let’s show our community spirit and teamwork while enjoying a rewarding day by the sea.

For the day please remember

- Dress in layers to accommodate changing weather conditions.
   - Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes to protect your feet.
   - bring thick gloves to protect your hands from sharp objects and harmful substances.
   - Bring a water bottle and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated throughout the clean up.
   - Apply sunscreen, wear a hat, and use sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun’s harmful rays.
   - Be cautious of uneven ground, slippery rocks, and wet sand to avoid trips and falls.
   - If you can bring litter pickers or tongs to pick up trash. Avoid handling sharp objects, broken glass, or hazardous materials directly.
   - Do not pick up heavy or large items by yourself; seek assistance. 

On the day we will meeting at Formby train station east side car park.

There will be a volunteer contingent from Government Departments and the CS LGBT+ Network, this beach clean will not only be exclusively with members of our Network.

If weather changes where we feel it will be unsuitable to do the beach clean we will rearrange the event so please provide us a contact number to notify you ASAP.
